Waldrop House of Music hosts a musical performance on
the third Thursday of each month at 3 pm. Past performances have included
pianists, organists, vocalists, and composer book premieres. Watch the

“HELP!
I’m a pianist and they want me to play the organ!”
This one day workshop taught by Susie Waldrop and Joan Peterson is designed
for the organist with little or no formal training. This is a basic introduction
to the organ, its “parts”, functions, and terminology. A lot
of information is packed into this ABC class: Appreciation, Basic Knowledge,
and Creativity. Although this workshop is taught using the Rodgers organ,
the principles apply to any pipe or digital organ. This workshop is scheduled
based on registration: when we have 5-6 participants registered in a location,
we will schedule a workshop. If your church is interested in hosting an
